Description
A widespread power outage has crippled Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince, and parts of the central region following the forced shutdown of the Péligre hydroelectric plant by protesters. The state-owned Electricity of Haiti (EDH) described the blackout as "heinous sabotage" amid ongoing demonstrations.
